I never had a dream ring.  I’m not a girly girl at all.  I hate jewelry.  My engagement ring is the first piece I’ve ever owned.  I do think it’s perfect for my personality though.  It’s a family heirloom from the 1930s and everyone has always considered me an old soul.  =)

I never really had a dream ring either.  I had an idea of what stone I wanted, but when I realized I could use my late mother’s stone, that changed.  My Fiance and I designed the ring around the stone, and it is perfect!  I still catch myself looking at it every now and then even though I have had it for a year!

I love my ring.  When Fiance got serious about talking marriage I gave him three to choose from.

I can honestly say I have my dream ring.  I think it helped that I was VERY involved in the ring process – we talked about it, we went looking at diamonds together, etc.  I’m absolutely content.

I still stare at mine and think it’s the most beautiful ring I have ever seen.

My ring wasn’t what I dreamed about growing up, which was the classic 6-prong round solitaire. However, once I tried my current ering on, we both knew it was THE ONE. Both of us honestly couldn’t be happier and even though we can easily afford to upgrade now or later, I think it is the perfect size/shape/setting. Now, I can’t imagine wearing my original “dream ring” because this one is so perfect.

Is it my absolute “dream ring”? I dunno…but I absolutely love it and wouldn’t change anything about it  (other than replacing the small diamond that’s gone missing Cry). Out of all my jewelry (and I have a lot of rings…) my ering is still the one that makes me feel funny inside (in a good way). It’s the only piece of my jewelry that is irreplaceable, and the only piece that I obsess about/overprotect. Like, to the point where I won’t even wear it if it’s raining outside…lol.

I would absolutely say my ering is my dream ring. Fiance and I spent a ton of time together looking at options, and when we finally picked it I was VERY sure. (: i stare at it constantly at think that its just perfect for me. Its really my most prized possession.

I love my ring and wouldn’t change it for the world.  We went to the store and picked it out together which I loved doing.

Yes! Fiance bought me my DREAM ring even after I told him he could pick out something he wanted that was different (since he knew what I wouldn’t like) But then he surprised me with the exact one I wanted anyways!

It’s almost nothing like what I originally wanted, but I love it completely! The only detail I would change is carat size. I’d move it down from 1 to 1/2 carat. The man didn’t budge on that though, so I let him have his way. Lol.
