I love, love my ring. When my brother proposed to my SIL, I remember trying on her ring (in the days before he proposed) and thinking that it was the prettiest ring with white gold, princess cut. The style stuck with so much that I knew I wanted it eventually. My husband took my white gold/princess cut expectations and blew them away with a gorgeous ring that sparkles like mad!! I love my sparkly solitare! I love it with the comfort fit band too. It’s just so classic.

I had my ring custom designed based on a couple rings that I loved and combined different elements of each. With that being said I love my ring and it’s my dream ring. However I do still notice other people’s rings and think of how beautiful they are.

I love my ring!  It wasn’t what I would have picked out, at all, but as soon as I saw it I knew that it was perfect.

I had actually told my Fiance that I wanted one large blue sapphire with a diamond halo, as both of us were born in September.  Instead, he picked out a blue diamond ring with two white diamonds on the sides.  I asked him why he went with a blue diamond and he said it was the closest stone that looked like a sapphire with the hardness of a diamond.  πŸ™‚

And because I love sharing it:

I love my old ring, as it was my second choice when we went browsing.. I was estatic when I got it! That being said, if I really had the choice to get my dream ring, I’d keep the band, and switch out the smaller stone/halo for a bigger diamond.

Since we separated, and have recently reconciled, the Mister has said that we can upgrade (when we get engaged again), and I’ll more than likely receive my dream ring. πŸ™‚

Let me start by saying that I love my ring because of what it simbolizes.  BUT (yes there is a but, but I don’t want to sound like an unapreciative witch) I would chose something completely different. My ring is beautiful, but it has a thicker band than what I would prefer.  Also it has sice stones.  I like plain solitaire with a thinner band or if it had side stones I would have liked it to have a halo (and thin band again).

I do like it though.  It is just something I wouldn’t chose if I picked it myself.  I am glad he chose it though and I am glad he didn’t ask me to chose it myself πŸ™‚  He searched for it for a long time and put a lot of thought in it and that’s what matters to me πŸ™‚

My ring is perfect for me and I even chose it. But it’s not the most beautiful ring out there, as far as stunning rings go. I chose it because it is beautiful, delicate and fits my lifestyle (i.e. will not get caught up everywhere, if I scratch it, I will not lose sleep over it). Since I am wearing it every day for the rest of my life, I wanted something beautiful but still practical. Also, there are many beautiful styles out there that just looked ridiculous on my finger, in my opinion (and much to my despair when we were shopping).  So, I love my ring and it fits me perfectly, but there are many rings I see that have me lust after them!

My ring is one of a few that I showed my Fiance saying I loved the detail…I’m into ornate things that arn’t over the top and are hidden just for me…It was actually not on my list of rings that I wanted or even expected when we finally got engaged…but now that I have it and look at it every day I LOVE my ring and wouldn’t want any other ring on my finger…exspecially sense he loves plain solitares with no details and this is the ring he picked out because of the detail…and he knows how much I love it! Don’t get me wrong I drool over other womens BEAUTIFUL rings…but I’d never trade mine in at the end of the day! By The Way beutiful rings ladys every one is so lucky to be given such sweet and sentimental engagement rings!!

Ohh I’ll play. Okay, so I do but I don’t have my dream ring. I fell in love with the Tiffany Legacy about a year before he popped the question, but when I found out how much it was, I forbid him from buying it there. So he found GoodOldGold and designed it himself, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I get to say my Fiance designed my ring, how stellar is that? πŸ™‚ So here’s my ring porn:

    And here is the inspiration:

He did a great job πŸ™‚

I actually fell in love with cushion cut diamonds after being on here for a while but at the end of the day I still absolutely love mine and all of its little details!

Mine is nothing like I imagined.  I always thought I’d have a round or oval stone in a yellow gold setting (or yellow AND white together) with some kind of artistic flair.  (Inspired by a ring my grandma gave me for my 16th birthday).

Instead I ended up with this one.  But I love it now!  It’s more modern and has a similar feel to my twin sister’s e-ring.  Me, my Fiance, my sister, and Brother-In-Law are all really close, so it’s cool our rings go together a bit.

Mine is almost perfect. The only thing I would change is on the sides of the halo there are holes (for light to come through) that I wish weren’t there. There is plenty of place for light at the bottom so I don’t really get it. Oh well, no one else notices it, so it’s really only in my head. Other than that, it’s 100% perfect.

I absolutely LOVE!!!! My e-ring… I look at my ring all throughout the day and I have had it for 7 months already…. I thought I had an "idea" of what I would like my ring to look like…but when I tried that style on, it didn’t look right on my finger…. the Fiance did a good job at picking out this ring and he takes pride in it, lol….it’s actually cute!
