I’ve always had a thing for guys with brown eyes. I’m not a fan of facial hair, and I don’t like super short hair. Yet, my Fiance has a beard [never been shaved, just trimmed- he will always have it], he shaves his head in the summer, and he has blue eyes, haha. Do I love him any less? No way! He’s just not who I expected to end up with. What about you?

I’ve always liked nerdy guys with long hair, glasses and a t-shirt and jeans.
My husband does wear glasses and just a t-shirt and shorts when we run errands but other than that, he’s so preppy. He likes Abercrombie and Fitch or American Eagle, and his hair is short and combed conservatively or spiked, depending on how short it is. The longest it gets is when he has what we call “superman hair” where it flips and curls slightly around the bang area.
He’s also Asian and I NEVER thought I’d be with an Asian man. But I’ve always found him attractive. I remember before we dated i always checked him out when he wasn’t looking.
Personality wise, again I like nerdy guys. Mine was an average student, doesn’t like to read, and likes to watch movies with more action than talk. Not what I thought I’d be with but he’s very smart common-sense wise and he has a really high emotional IQ.

Nope! I had a type and he had a type and we don’t match each others ‘types’ at all! I joke that if we had to have met online through a dating website we would have never met! lol

I always went for really tall, big but not fat, dark haired guys before I met my husband. My husband is tall but not super tall, blonde and blue eyed. He’s stron but not big. I think he’s super handsome though and I would never have dismissed him because he’s not my usual type.

Nope he is the complete opposite of the guys I had dated up until him. All prior were tall, darker skin, and dark hair. My Darling Husband is tall, but he’s a red headed white boy lol. I wouldnt want it any other way though. He is the perfect compliment to me and although he didn’t fit my usual “type” I def find him very attractive ๐

My dating record stands that I usually go for the tall, dark, and handsome type… Which obviously never fared well for me, since none of those relationships worked out… When I met my husband he was totally not the type I usually was attracted to, but there was something about him… He was a bit shorter than I was used to, light hair and fair skinned, I obviously think he’s handsome, but it’s definitely different than the other guys I dated… But his personality is everything I’ve ever wanted and everything I tried to find before… He has like all of the good qualities of every guy I’vew ever dated all squished into one. ๐

I don’t think I have a type….looking back on all of my relationships, each one was very different than the one before. That being said Fiance has more things about him that I find physically and emotionally attractive then the ex’s

I never really had a type, but I’ve liked dark hair with light eyes and “pretty eyes” on guys, so I guess those three are all hits, but his personality isn’t quite like anyone I’ve ever met.

It wasn’t so much appearance for me. There was never really a type for me when it comes to the man’s looks. I was however very specific about who I pursued when it came to personality. He had to be alot like me, but not so much like me that it was creepy.
My husband is funny, intelligent (without being smug about it), immature when necessary and spontaneous. I love this! We can be goofy with each other and not feel ashamed about it. I knew this one the first date, I thought it was going great so I wanted it to last longer. So, I said lets go see a movie, I will buy! Turned out the closest showing was Harry Potter. We laugh about it now and he still has the movie ticket stub from that day.

My first few years of highschool I had crushes on tall guys with brown hair haha, then I met Fiance the summer before senior year and he has brown hair and is tall. I guess he fits my ‘type’ ๐

He’s tall, shaggy, dark-haired, very intelligent and definitely a bit geeky. He’s definitely my type, but sometimes I wonder if he’s the guy that initialized those preferences in the first place. We met when I was 15, and I thought he was the cutest.
