MemberI’ve always been attracted to a certain type, so the looks department was no surprise. But DH is far less “type-A personality” than other men I had dated, which turned out to make him the ideal father and family man. So he is everything I knew I wanted and everything I didn’t know I wanted, too.
MemberI said yes but I didn’t really have this real exact pimage of what my “one” wold be like. Dh comes pretty close though. The one thing that is different: he is short. Like an inch taller than me, that’s it. I did think I would have ended up with a guy much taller.
MemberYes and no. I always wanted to be with a man who is 6 ft, masculine, broad shoulders and not skinny, strong hands, etc. and Fiance is exactly all of that.
But I also wanted a sweet, nerdy, button down shirt, wears glasses, and good boy type – and my Fiance is definitely not that! I’ve never liked the edgy, wickedly dashing/charming that has women falling left & right, intense, sweet guy with a bad boy side to him – bleehhhh! But that’s who I ended up falling in love with!
(I still have a soft spot for nerdy sweet guys! lol)
