I didn’t vote either because I have both. I consider my plain band the wedding band though… just because it’s something I’ll have forever… diamonds fall out, styles change, etc… plain gold band will be on forever

Will be plain yellow gold. My SO is quite traditional and doesn’t really like diamonds, so that’s influenced by decision. My solitaire e-ring is plain and without a halo (my preference) and platinum.

I have a 3 mm low dome plain white gold ring. I tried diamond rings and they all felt uncomfortable. In the future I want to get a domed yellow gold band too because they’re just more traditional and I’m into that lately.

I have always thought of wedding rings as plain, old fashioned l know. I love some of the pretty diamond and gems that people have as wedding rings though. Mine is outdated and l don’t wear it much , though l wear others . It is THE one though , particularly as we didn’t do an engagement ring .0781D01F-92A6-4DB9-B778-CF66BD79BE8D

I have a diamond band halo engagement ring with a plain wedding band. I chose the plain band so I could wear it alone in instances when wearing my engagement ring would potentially damage it.

I also like the contrast and may add a sparkly band down the road to put below my wedding band.

@bebesj:  I also have both so I didn’t vote. I got married with a plain band and that’s what I wear the most. My DH surprised me with two matching anniversary bands on our second anniversary. I wear those on special occasions and just when I want a little extra bling.

@bebesj:  Voted for diamond although I cheated a bit because my wedding ‘set’ is actually one solid piece and my wedding band is being designed now for my 3 year anniversary. But, thought I’d share since I have a sapphire too! Congrats on your soon to be engagement!!

Team plain! So darn comfortable, I never take off my set and I don’t ever scratch my 11 month old when I’m playing with him or changing him.

I got a plain band for the classic look but also so that I have one ring at least that I never need to take off. It’s super comfortable and it never gets in my way even doing messy tasks like kneading dough or gardening. Fewer crevices to worry about sanitizing in these strange times too.

I am especially appreciating my plain band in quarantine because I haven’t put on my engagement ring in months (which I used to wear daily but take off for showers/bedtime, and sometimes for things like cooking). The only jewelry pieces I’ve been wearing recently are my diamond stud earrings and my plain wedding band, both of which are super comfortable and never get in my way.

My e-ring is a solitaire on a plain band so DH paired it with a half eternity diamond wedding band.

My wedding band is plain, and my engagement ring is an emerald and diamond halo with pave sides.

Mine is curved and crown like, has emeralds and diamonds. The other band I wear is plain.

I love all types of wedding bands, but I chose a fairly plain one with no stones, just because I’ll never have to worry about a stone falling out of my wedding ring.
