@MrsSawyer: That’s pretty much the exact color scheme I want to go with! But people are fighting me on the orange part. I was thinking of incorporating those little pumpkins into my centerpieces to give it a more fall feel, since it’s my favorite season.

I’m counting on fall colors to liven up our area! According to the venue it’s a sure thing, but in the odd year the leaves could turn colors later or a freak cold snap could have the leaves drop early…. *fingers crossed*

We were after labor day which would make me say fall but held onto summer just the same. Our colors were blue and blue and our reception was by the ocean. The weather was in the 70s so not too much summer but still nice enough. the recent events of Hurricane Irene make me realize just how big of a risk we took booking a beach venue in Sept. but for our purposes, we felt that between summer/fall season was the best.

Mines the 23rd, in Chicago…usually it;s more “fall” like but I’m sure it’s also possible to be 75-80* but usually their is a crisp-fallness about this part of the month! I love early fall so I’m hoping for that! I do  not like summer because I get hot very easily! My friend call me a heater or hot-box because I always feel like I’m running a fever!

We are planning for a summer wedding. Usually the weather is pretty good here at the beginning of September. We’re having an outdoor ceremony and reception

@DaniBanani: our colours are eggplant and lime green/apple green (not exactly sure yet). Have you found any inspiration boards you want to share?

@QBbride: I’m sorry to say I don’t have much to share with you.  I haven’t really hunted for inspiration boards yet… I’ve been sorta wingin’ it.  I’ve gathered up some images and collaborated them for you to take a look at.  I took most of the images myself.  All but the two in the bottom right hand corner are images of items I’ve purchased.  The green chair sash and the bridesmaid dress are both very similar to what will be used in my wedding though so I included them too.

Sept 14 so still early Sept – hoping it’s still summer here – I wish i had paid more attention to September the last few years!! I don’t want to do Fall colours but might incorporate something harvesty as there will be some fall fairs around by then.

I guess 9/8/12 would be consider summer. At first I was thinking fall, but now I am unsure. Our theme is romance in september colors being champgane, chocolate and pale pink what do you think. I was trying go for a romantic themes with lots of candels and I loved the champagne color and pink. My finace came up with chocolate and I thought it was good little different. Just not sure how this will play our being I wanted the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses champange but they cannot be now since my dress is too close to this color. THinkin about doing european pink it like a pale pink color dress for the Bridesmaid or Best Man and Chocolates suits for the males possilby with pink vest and bow ties.
