Maybe something to match the silver part?  I can’t tell what the material is … platinum, white gold or silver for him?

I just wanted to say that the boy did a GREAT job!!! It’s gorgeous.

I agree with the PP, maybe something thin in the same metal that is molded to the ring on each side to accent the silver parts and sort of ‘cap’ the diamond parts on the side, if you get what I mean. It can be skinny or thick, and the places I’ve talked to around here only take about 3-7 days to get a mold of your ring so they can start making the band. Have fun shopping!

We went back to the same jeweller who made my e-ring and asked him for ideas. I had been in total control with the e-ring itself (FI asked me to sketch what I wanted and the jeweller replicated it exactly), but I had no idea what to do for a wedding band.

Long story short, our jeweller came through with flying colours and designed a wedding band that ties in with my e-ring incredibly well. I am so glad I left it up to him this time! So if you have faith in the jeweller who made your e-ring (which you should; it’s gorgeous!) then I would go back to him/her for advice as your first move.

I love your ring (do I spy an asscher?)!

I think maybe something that keeps the very uneven look of the ring would be best, as that what makes the e-ring such a treat to look at. I love mixed metals, so I would consider maybe something in yellow gold in a similar shape, but that’s just me.

@linguo42: Any chance your jeweler has a website? I finally got the stone I wanted for my ring (I think) but now have no idea where to go to get my dream ring made.

@Rubies: He does, but he’s here in Vancouver and prefers to work very closely with his clients in person so I don’t know how much use it will be! But here it is anyway: http://www.ja3d.com/

@eleroo02: I too have a mild Asscher addiction. I think a Celtic style would be lovely.

@linguo42: Sadness, his work is lovely. Why are all the good jewelers a million miles away!? πŸ™‚

I like the modern design of your ring and I’m usually a vintage person but your ring is beautiful!

Have you considered moving your ring to your right hand and getting any wedding band you want?  That way you wouldn’t have to have something custom designed.  Or I like the idea of yellow good with it too, for some reason I think yellow gold would look really pretty with it!

Hmm…are you insistent on having a separate wedding ring?  If I were to see your ring in person, I would probably think it’s the completed set, with the side diamonds being the wedding ring part.  It is GORGEOUS!  πŸ™‚

I had this same problem but my fiance fixed it for me by finding exactly what he wanted and I think it would be perfect for you! My fiance was born in scotland so he loves celtic designs and we found this site: http://www.uniquecelticweddingrings.com and went with the simple, trinity knot, white gold wedding band. Each is hand-made in Ireland and all of them are gorgeous! We haven’t gotten it yet, but we are so excited to see it! It’s so unique and absolutely beautiful!
