For all the tech savvy bee’s out there (which I am not), if I buy an illustration from iStockphoto, will I be able to use them if I don’t have Illustrator or any of the other programs listed? I am trying to design water bottle labels in PowerPoint (fancy, I know) but they don’t have any fun clip art designs I want to use. Will they convert over to PowerPoint?

You cannot open any vector fomat files without illustrator or any vector editing software :(. You’d have to select from ‘photos’ only. Illustrations usually indicate that they are in vector format. Do you have any friends with the software?

I recommend inkscape. It’s a free version of illustrator, that way you can edit the vector art however you please. I had zero experience with vector editing software pre-wedding. But, Inkscape is fairly easy to use and I like using vector images now.
