Can you just put another aisle runner down on top of the red? It doesn’t look like green and purple would look bad.  i think you just need to play with it a little and try different things until it looks good.

Why not just have them take up the rug temporarily and use your own aisle runner in your colors? Or just use one over it? Or don’t even worry about it because I’m sure your guest realize that the carpet is just part of the facility and you didn’t select it. Also, I think the bird cages would look fine with purple and green flowers. Those are my colors, too, and I don’t see a problem.

Maybe in the bird cages add really rich purple flowers, maybe more of a plum color. It would go with your color scheme but look a little better with the iron bars. Really play with tones of your colors, dont get stuck in your exact hues.

I haven’t planned my reception yet, but I think the chairs look fine without covers! But if you want to play down some of the accents of the venue and keep to your colors, then I don’t think it would hurt.

All I have to say is… the wallpaper at my venue is a light spring floral, and I’m doing a fall theme with purple and orange for my colors. Is it going to clash? Heck yes. Do I care? Nope! You’ll find ways to make it work. I adore your color scheme, don’t change it on account of your venue.

In my opinion, where ever you go, a red carpet speaks for itself! So no matter your color scheme, I’d go with it! =) Its beautiful and very powerful, that is the aisle that is sending you to marry the man of your dreams! =P Ok im being cheesy, but seriously I love the class of a red aisle runner, no matter what the color scheme! Best of Luck! And thats if they dont allow you to take up the runner!

Would you consider spraying the cages a silver or white or ivory?! To lighten the effect!?

I think that red goes with purple and green. Its a jewel tone, so everything will look great together! I think whatever you decide to go with will look great though!

Have them pull up that red carpet! I’m sure they can move it. Just put candles down the aisle and have no runner. It would be prettier anyway. Red carpet blek! My colors are purple and green too and if there was a red carpet I would have them remove it immediately! good luck.
