Have you asked him what’s bothering him because it sounds like something is. I doubt it’s really about the tux. Talk to him, maybe it’s something that could be worked out.

I think you should ask him if he’s uncomfortable walking you down the aisle. It may be that stepping into a role traditionally filled by your father is causing him to deal with his feelings about your father. (You said he’s been difficult during your entire engagement… how soon after him finding out about the engagement did you ask him to walk you down the aisle?)

You also mentioned he has some other things going on. Is it possible that he’s feeling overwhelmed, and that he’s using your wedding as a way of venting his frustrations?

I agree with the other posters. You need to talk to him. (About what’s going on with him, not about the tux. 🙂

Since this behaviour has been going on since you got engaged… i think he’s actlng like that because he actually feels that you’re like a “daugther” to him, so maybe it’s hard for him “giving you away”.

I say you have a heart-to-heart with him and ask why has he been acting like that
