I love claddagh rings too.  Every girl has one in my family given to her by our Irish grandmother.  Isn’t it supposed to be turned the other way though?  The way you have it in the picture means that your heart is available to give to another person.  I could be wrong, but that’s what I’ve always been told.

What a great proposal though, so sweet!  Congrats!

fsm83:  ohhh good news!  I love Kent!  There are so many beautiful parts of the UK, but I enjoy living in Kent so much.  The only down side for me is that we’re surrounded by water on a radius of around 300 degrees!  It has to be said that it generally makes searching/sourcing ANYTHING a bit more problematic, because whereas in the midlands (or equivalent) you’d have 360 degrees to job hunt / buy from ebay / find a supplier – you don’t have that luxury.  However, day to day it’s not an issue ๐Ÿ˜€ I hope you enjoy living in Kent
