I had a hunch that my ring burning a hole in my man’s pocket was the cause for my birthday present – a week long trip to my favorite place on earth. Jackson Hole, WY!
On the second day we were there (a day before my birthday) he took me to Grand Teton National Park and we played in the snow (more like I fell on my rear end) and laughed for what felt like forever. As we were driving away from the main portion of the park I started crying because it was just THAT beautiful. I have never seen anything as beautiful as the Tetons covered in snow. Lord help me I am such a wimp! All the sudden we pulled off to a dirt road and a more secluded area of the park to enjoy some more powdery/less slushy snow. We got out of the car and hugged and he started saying all these wonderful things to me. Him being such a romantic I didn’t think anything of it and ran off to play. He started talking to me again and when I looked back to respond to him he was down on one knee with my ring.
Best day of my life (so far)! I cannot wait to be his wife and hold his hand forever!
