LOL – Thank you for posting.  I agree!

I’ll also add in that I just get discouraged about humanity when I read a post about someone losing sleep because they don’t have their “dream” ring.  Huh?  I mean, there are things that are problems and there are things that are not.

i LOVE my ring because it is gorgeous and it is heart-shaped and for me that means it is “mushy” and i love to think of Fiance and I as mushy, sweet, other-people-roll-their-eyes-at-us, kind of couple!  the only outer limit i had to place on my ring was cost, but it worked out because i am generally not into big flashy jewelery. i like to keep it simple and so my ring represent my inner lovey-dovey mushiness and my simple taste. it is PERFECT and everything i want!  sometimes i even question if i need a wedding band to go with  it because it just perfect the way it is!

that being said…sometimes i wish i saw more posts with people who have smaller rings, because from being on here, *sometimes* i feel like i just have the smallest diamond ever! so Belle2Be, you have inspired me to draw out others like me, and that means those people with a 1/4 carat diamond who love it, chose it, and are proud of it!

um, i just scrolled up to vote and wasn’t sure what your choices meant, so i refrained from voting for the time being!

Haha, don’t really get the pole and not entirely sure what you’re looking for here, but I love my ring if that’s what you want! I have a real diamond and it sparkles like mad and was in DH’s price range. We have no regrets about it and I can’t wait to upgrade the setting one day!

I love my ring because it is what my wonderful Mr. H picked out for me. I just told him I liked the vintage look and he ran with it. He is the one that searched and picked out the perfect ring for me. When he asked me to marry him my mouth dropped. Not only did I have the perfect man but, I had the pefect ring! I do not care about size or how much it cost. It is more special when it comes from the heart. I was not sure of the choices either so I did not vote. I will when I learn what they mean!..lol

I voted for Meep Meep. ๐Ÿ™‚ I took a TON of crap for my ring from family and peers when I first got engaged–“Why isn’t it a diamond?” “Is it even really gold? It looks like silver!” The list went on and on. So I thought–“Eff them–I love it.” That continues to be my opinion on the subject to this day.

I love my ring because of what it represents much more than because of the stone, the cut, the sparkles, etc. Above all else (and I enjoy every aspect of my ring), I love it simply because my husband chose it, gave it to me, and let it represent his commitment to and love for me. How could I not love it?
