How far is the ride??

I’ve been in cramped limos before – and it’s just no fun.  But if it’s just for a short distance – maybe it’ll be ok.

Sorry why won’t 14 people fit into the 14-person Excursion SUV?  Is the # they accommodate on the small side?

If you had to ask someone to ride in another vehicle due to capacity issues, if I were in your shoes I think I would probably boot the junior attendants rather than the ushers or PA’s.  But am I missing something?  Do you not have any groomsmen, or just ushers?

Could you consider hiring two smaller limos instead of one huge one?

I am renting a trolley, but we also looked into party buses.  My friend had one for her wedding and it was great.  Trying to climb into a limo is hard in a big wedding gown.  with these two buses, they have stairs and tables and plenty of room.

i think if it’s a long ride you will be sorry if you squash everyone in, so i’d kick out the people who are most likely to have another enjoyable ride obligation (anyone with kids, a wife, husband, etc). and if it’s a short ride i’d let the whole party ride in the limo & get a nice sweet ride just for you & hubs. youll want some time alone & wont miss 5-10 minutes with the whole crew. maybe a relative/friend has a cool car to borrow?

14 in a 14-person limo will be tight with everyone dressed up, but 21 is too many for one limo no matter how short the ride.  i would suggest only your attendants (5+5) + you 2 = 12. that way you have wiggle room, noones feelings are hurt bc the line is drawn at your attendants.

there are 25-person stretch hummers but i dont know how common they are, perhaps you can change your reservation to that or a party bus/trolley/etc.

One of the girls I know is renting limo mini bus or something to that effect. Looks like one of those short busses for maybe 20 people but has all the limo amenities, aka couch around, TV, bar etc. You may want to look into something like that

if its a short trip, maybe make two trips with a small limo (it might be cheaper too!). Or get a few cool cars like converables or something that all match and have a "party train"?

PS what does PA stand for?

My vote is rent two limos- one for the bridal party, one for the grooms party. This way no being squashed. Then the way to the reception, you and your new hubby can be all alone whoop whoop!
