I told SO months ago that I want a right hand ring so hopefully he remembers (doubtful!) because it is so awkward to have to tell him what I want when the time is closer. Honestly I am not a big fan of Christmas and only do it for my kids and for SO because he likes it. I would be just as happy to skip the whole holiday!

As a waiting bee, only one thing comes to mind: A sparkly for my very underweight left ring finger.

I don’t typically make lists because I don’t really ever need anything.  At the moment, a new car stereo would be nice because mine is about to give up the ghost.  Fiance knows this, so hopefully he’ll remember when he goes shopping.  I still have no idea what I’m going to get him.  I usually get him car parts for one of his vehicles.  For his birthday last week he got a gas tank.

I’m going to ask my parents for the balance on my cake or alterations or something else wedding related.

Well, we will have just paid for the wedding and honeymoon, so Christmas will be pretty small this year!

Darling Husband and I keep universal Amazon wishlists for gift giving occasions. This year, though, we both had awsome birthday gifts, and we’re taking a first anniversaty Euro trip… so, Christmas will be a little light. He’s getting a Wii U, and I’ll get a new Kindle (the one with the built in backlight). I love my Kindle, but the backlight is so cool!

An iPAD! 😉 Just kidding.  I really never want anything.  FI is really good at getting me things he knows I’ll love.

My SO and my mom just asked for my Christmas list and I have no idea what I want. Hopefully the mini-iPad comes out. I would certainly love one of those 🙂

I’m asking for serving pieces for our fancy china. My grandmother gave us her set of china as our wedding gift (yes over a year in advance) but it didn’t come with any serving pieces. We can’t really register for them since the set is 50ish years old and the only way to get them is to register for them through a replacements company (and I don’t want a third registry for 3 items).

We don’t make lists, but we do pay attention to what the other person wants/needs throughout the year. When I’ve tried to flat-out ask for something, he doesn’t want to buy it because he likes making the gift a surprise. The best gifts I’ve gotten for him are things that he didn’t know he wanted!

This year, I just want one little thing… a ring! (However, I hope that I get it for our anniversary this fall, and if I do, then I’ll be perfectly content with a Christmas card.)
