The other night Fiance and I went looking at wedding bands. He found one he liked and that fit AND that was on sale so he bought it!
I, on the other hand had trouble.
My e-ring is a heart shape and sits quite high up and the halo diamonds are set on prongs that are set into a heart shape on the band…SO a round wedding band ends up with a huge gap between it and my e-ring. Now some gaps look fine, but this gap looks weird.
So, I look at a few V shapes bands, but they don’t have any plain gols, just ones with diamonds and I don’t really like the V bands by themselves for occasions when I don’t wear my e-ring.
I went to the jewellers yesterday to get my e-ring resized and asked about resetting it so it doesn’t make the band protrude out. That will cost too much as it’s quite fiddly.
Also a plain gold e-ring will also cost too much and there was a plain round band that I really liked which goes on sale on Monday.
Have been wondering what to do when it suddenly hit me this morning. It’s only tradition that says I HAVE to wear my e–ring on my left hand with my wedding band. Why can’t I just wear my e-ring on my right hand after the wedding?! BOOM! Problem solved!
Haha! It seemed so obvious after I thought about it!
Anyone else wear their e-ring and / or wedding band non-traditionally?
