Wow. Around here all you get is the site rental for 2k. Do you have pics?

@SoontobeMrsA: I’m with you. I’m embarrassed to admit what we are paying just to rent our site. $2,000 sounds amazing!

Have you signed the contract yet?  This is a really good deal, especially for California! We paid $2600 just for site rental, which did not include any food or servers.  This was also a historical house owned by a community college.

So even if you just do 30 guests- you’re still under 50 bucks a person for venue, food, and beer/champagne?

Damn. I wish I could find a venue like that!

I think 40$ a head is a pretty good deal depending on the food quality and details about the open bar. Is the champagne punch any good?

Does it have the option to extend the 5hr rental period? This might be the clencher: I’ve heard a few brides comment that the evening goes WAY too fast when you’ve got a time limit.

Very charming! Honestly, jump on it! The place has so much character already. Decorating will be a breeze and the price is a steal for a place that looks (from the photos) so well-maintained. You can have an absolutely fantastic wedding here!
