- Wedding: September 2014 - Manhattan Church Rec Center
…Is the name of a Maroon 5 album that I didn’t like as much as Songs about Jane, But I still like the title.
So my SO has told me that he will be upping the “lets get Ms. Sapphire a ring” game in September and that was GREAT news. So now I know it will happen sometime either before the end of the year (I would love it if it was a Winter Solstice or a New Years Proposal) or defiantly before V-day 2013. We have decided we want to be married in 2-3 years. I really want to be married by 2015. It will be about when I should be finished with my Grad Program.
So I have a dream ring, like most waiting bees do. I love Sapphires (hence the name) and want the center stone to be one. Desperately. My fav ring on Angara.com I guess is selling out because they no longer had the settings to change the metal type or the center stone quality. Which lowered the price of my dream ring by, like 600 bucks, which is awesome, but I am afraid it wont be available for much longer. My SO saw me staring at it and I told him my dream ring is selling out and I was sad it wouldn’t be available for when he wanted to get it. And he told it’s his job to get me a ring and basically that I am going to be in the dark about the whole thing.
I asked him if this ment we won’t be going to the store to look at rings and he said that wouldn’t happen until we choose bands.
So….kinda excited that he wants to take initiative about the ring getting and proposal, but a little anxious about being left in the dark. I have laid out all the hints I can so I know he will get something I like (preferably a 3 stone ring with a sapphire center stone).
This means I gotta shut up for the WHOLE month of August (in which we have a wedding, my B-day and our 5 Year Anniversary). Qwaaaah, But anything can happen between September and February. If February comes and goes I will be one sad, sad bee.
Kind words and advice are appreciated.
