When my family visited Italy, the B&B owner’s daughter was named Fiorenza, and I always loved that.  Similarly, I went to school with a girl named Fiorella.

Italian living in Italy here 🙂 pay attention to the spelling,I saw quite a few spelling mistakes even in this topic.

My favourite names for a girl are Gaia,Alice,Luna and Clara;boys names are Luca,Marco,Niccolò  and Tommaso.

My own name is Azzurra  (light blue),and my younger sister is called Viola (violet),so not really common names 🙂
