Safety pins and duct tape. Not even joking! Well fabric tape is better, but hey, duct tape works too. I got married a week ago and luckily the photographer had safety pins because part of my bra was showing under the armpit of my dress a bit. Last time I was in a wedding, my strapless dress wasn’t really staying up right, so we used some duct tape that the church had on hand to help with that.

I’d also recommend some snacks and extra hairspray.

We also all brought our toothbrushes and toothpaste so we woudl have nice fresh breath right before the ceremony.

white chalk… hides stains, bandaids, extra lipstick, small sewing kit with white thread and maybe some clear buttons, pack some makeup removal for later at the hotel.

  • FOOD FOR THE HOTEL ROOM AFTER THE WEDDING! You will be so hungry! I remember POUNDING a bagel
  • a change of clothes for your husband as he will just have his tux (my poor hubby had nothing to wear as we checked out of the hotel)
  • ibuprofen for your sore feet
  • tip money
  • extra undies for the next day, not just sexy stuff
  • phone charger
  • back-up lip gloss/ lipstick so you don’t freak out if you misplace it
  • change of flats/ sandals for after party
  • I had a Bridesmaid or Best Man take photos with my personal digital camera so I had some of my “own” photos immediately
