This has been rescheduled twice and I’m not changing it! Hopefully it will cool down by the time we take the pictures but that’s my luck! I had to change an outfit plan becuase I was going to wear jeans and a jacket, but I decided on shorts and a tank for one outfit. I hope it looks ok but I’m not wearing jeans today!

@Lauren10.8.11: easy on the makeup, esp the eyes, it runs….

Oh ya I know… Then you get the crease… Not cute. On top of it all, I got burnt last weekend and I’m peeling. Luckly I scrubbed a lot of that off last night. Oh man I hope this goes well.

You are braver than me! It’s 87 here today and I’m miserable. I couldn’t imagine being all up on Mr. Tattoo and posing out in this humid mess. Good luck! It’s suppose to rain all night and be 91 here tomorrow. Yuck!

Good luck, I am in Troy and melting right now! I feel your pain! 🙂
Where are you taking them? We are struggling to choose a venue!

We are taking them in Hines, meeting in Dearborn (by my work) and finding a spot from there. Hopefully there is a breeze or we can take lots of them under trees!
There are some pretty nice places around Troy and the surrounding areas, it depends how big you would like to go : )

We had our engagement session last July at 1PM in 90 degree weather. They came out beautifully – Just remember tissues and blotting papers!

I did mine yesterday, and ours was about at that temp. It was hot….. My hair turned out not as great as expected but my makeup held up. I suggest buying some “Model in a Bottle” spray…….. I work as a makeup artist and that works wonders.

Our e-pics were suppose to be yesterday too. We we’re suppose to meet @ 6PM for sunset pictures, but at 5 the wind was blowing 28 mph, and it was 97 out!! My outfits consisted of basically all long sleeve shirts, or layers. Ugh, I really didn’t want to cancel because my FH and I have such busy random schedules, but my photographer recommended that we do it a different day she said that my hair would be a mess and I wouldn’t be happy with my pictures. She reassured me that she could get us scheduled asap! So we are now booked for Thursday morning @ 10AM – watched the news this morning and there is a high of 78 – thats more like it.
I was expecting the wind to go down by 6:30ish but it didn’t so I’m SO glad that we canceled. Hopefully I made the right choice and I’ll be happier with the cooler morning session!

Good to hear! I bet they will turn out great : )
So we took them yesterday, and it was super hot at first becuase later on in the day it was like 95 and a bit muggy. But we were under a lot of trees, and we got used to the heat. Plus, later on in the night it got cooler and the breeze felt good. I had planned on wearing jeans and a jean jacket… Good thing I changed my mind! I actually wore shorts and a flowy tank, which I ususally would never do but from what he was showing us they looked pretty good! I probably have 5000+ mosquito bites on me, it was funny… We had to brush them off in the middle of the shoot when they would come, or you could feel them land on you while you were in the middle of a pose.
My photographer was a trooper becuase he got eaten alive just as much as we did. Oh well, pain is beauty right?! : )
