How should we do our gender reveal this time around?
With our son we filled these little boxes we decorated that said “it’s a…” inside it was filled with pink and blue confetti and under it all it said “BOY!” It was a christmas gift and everyone loved it. This time around we should find out the baby’s gender around late May or early June. I have four houses that I have to go to, to announce the gender. So cakes are out! I was thinking of nothing the whole popping of the balloon and have one for everyone but save the actual gender balloon for the grandparents to pop. Too much work for 4 houses? I just want a big wow factor.

Why not cupcakes?
Cookies with the correct color candies?
Chocolate covered cake pops with the cake being the correct color?

We just had our gender reveal party yesterday and it was sooo much fun!
This is our first baby, so everybody was quite excited to find out the gender. We’ve known the gender since October, but didn’t reveal until yesterday! we only revealed it to our parents 1 hr before the party! Thank God we never slipped to anybody! Lol
Anyway, so our theme was “Suit & Bowtie or Dress, what’s your guess?” 🙂 Basically… We bought our baby’s first formal outfit and wrapped it in a big box. Guests had the chance to guess when they first arrived at the party. When it was time for the reveal, everybody basically gathered in front of us and did a count down until we opened the box and pulled out the outfit! 🙂 It was so much fun I tell ya!
