We went for our anomaly scan yesterday and it turns out we’re having a little girl! We came home and ordered pizza and had a really nice night. She became really active around 9 o’clock and I told Darling Husband to put his hand on my belly. He asked what it would feel like and I told him he would know exactly when it happened. She gave him a big kick and he took his hand away so fast like she was going to bite him. He’s officially freaked out lol.

I told you this on the other thread, but congratulations! My husband also recently felt our baby kick (he is usually working or sleeping during other active times) and he was so excited! I hope that the pregnancy continues to go well for you!

@DesireeAnne: no twin, lol. When we told the tech about how they wanted to make sure there wasn’t another baby in there she looked at us like we were crazy. I was like, “I didn’t say it! My CNM said it!” She rolled her eyes and said, “that’s almost as good as the doctor that asked me to check a ladies fallopian tube for a baby that had been seen in the uterus just weeks prior.”
While we were excited for the prospect of twins, I knew if they hadn’t seen them on the other u/s yet, it wasn’t very likely.

Yay! So excited for your little girl! And that’s so cool that your husband got to feel her kick! Mine has not felt ours yet, although I’m constantly grabbing his hand and asking, “did you feel that one?” 🙂
