@Shonzilla:  Well, rather than focusing on a wedding or engagement party, perhaps you should focus on your relationship and whether or not you two are ready to get married. If you are concerned that he isn’t ready, then he probably isn’t. If you two want to spend the rest of your lives together, you should be able to have a serious, mature conversation about it.

@Shonzilla:  You both should be certain after you decide to get married. No waffling.  If he is uncertain now, how can you be sure it will change after you get married?

Once you get married, it’s not so easy to just “undo” your decision.
