August may very well be a VERY LONG MONTH for you!  I can sympathize. My head would be on “pre-explode” mode too. But I have to say I’m so happy he’s got the ring and you know it’s going to happen this month. That’s more than most of us know. I see Bee’s who have to wait even longer once he has the ring and that is so nerve-wracking….

Hang in there! It sounds like he’s going to surprise you.  And good job keeping your cool. I sympathize with your waiting blues but keep your head up, you won’t be waiting for long!

You’re so close!! it sounds like you’re doing a great job leaving it up to him- I should take notes because my bf has said “before October” so I have an extra month.

Hopefully your wait isn’t till the 31st but congrats! Practice your surprised face!

My Boyfriend or Best Friend said September/October at the latest…and I’m not doing as great of a job. But still trying to keep my sense of humor!

I think mine’s coming this month as well (we never did the whole “it’s going to happen by such and such date thing) and the anticipation is killing me!  I keep trying to focus on little goals to get me through the month (parents visiting this weekend, then vacation, ect.).

Lots of diamond dust!

You’re sooooo close!! Sounds like your guy is def going to find a great way to surprise you (I can’t wait to hear your proposal story)! My guy has had the ring in the house for a week as well and I was going crrrraaazzyyyy waiting for him to propose. Then I realized we’re going to a baseball game next Monday and he’s been dropping hints it will be around then (And uh, I made it very clear to not make this a public proposal aka NO popping the question over the big screen in front of the entire stadium, ugh). The new running joke is that I’ll be doing a “pocket-check” before we walk into the game. My anxiety has totally subsided since I gave myself a date to look forward to and I’ve been enjoying our time together ever since. Is there any date you can focus on?

I’m in a similar boat! He has said that he would propose by the end of summer. I know it’s technically sometime in September, but I always think of it as the end of August (I have to keep reminding myself of this). He just recently reminded me that he doesn’t make promises he doesn’t keep (which is very true).

I have no clue about the ring, if he has it yet or not. He is the world’s best secret keeper. I swear, he should work for the Pentagon. I haven’t gone searching for it. I know that it’s really important to him that I don’t see the ring until he proposes, because he wants to do it in a certain way, and I don’t want to take that away from him. We are in a temporary LDR right now, so it does narrow down proposal opportunities! 🙂  I’m going to visit him in two weeks. Thankfully, since I’m a teacher, I’ll be busy with school stuff starting very soon. I hope that helps to pass the time!

I hope I read a grad post from you and the other girls soon! It seems like a lot of us are right there with a proposal!

That’s what we’re here for! I think my friends would get burned out too, if it wasn’t for this board.
