@edgebee:  That’s one of my favorites!  I have to drive 2+ hours to get any real Japanese food though, it makes me sad.

Mochi cakes are also up there on my favorites, but everyone I know besides my Mom hates them.  For combinations, my favorite is salty, buttery popcorn with M&Ms.  When the Menchie’s had their butter popcorn flavor, I was so happy!  Butter popcorn frozen yogurt with M&Ms and a little bit of hot fudge on top.

@honie309:  That sounds a lot like stewed macaroni, except stewed macaroni is made with warm milk instead of cold milk.  I’ve made it a few times and it turns out pretty good.

My friends give me crap for my favorite sandwich – white bread with liverwurst and mayo.  My Fiance is actually the first person I met who also liked liverwurst.

When I was a kid all I ate were cheese and ketchup sandwiches. Just the thought makes me want to vomit now.

@honie309:  How cool! I want to try it now. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I once had mac and cheese made with chocolate milk instead of regular milk. It was interesting, but never again! ๐Ÿ˜›

This may not be that weird, but I LOVE fried okra. It’s so damn delicious, but every time I tell someone about it, they freak out at the word “okra” and think I’m a crazy person. I live in Orange County, so it’s not offered here, like, anywhere. (I’m sure it would be different if I lived down south.)

I used to eat uncooked oatmeal. Right out of the tub. Still do occasionally.

I had a girlfriend who was obsessed with banana and mayonaise sandwiches, on white bread. She made me take a bite once… so slimey!

@bleusteel:  Yum… I used to love liverwurst! I haven’t had it in years!

@StephieBee:  I just had fried okra for the first time while in North Carolina for a friend’s wedding, and I loved it, too!  It’s definitely something we don’t have around here, either.

Fiance and I decided to grow some in our garden this year.  ๐Ÿ˜›

One of my favorite snacks is cool ranch doritos with cottage cheese. Yum! I also really love mustard and cheese sandwiches.

Mmm… Peanut butter and swiss cheese sandwiches heated up so that the cheese gets all gooey.

@SuperKate:  I still eat cheese and ketchup sandwhiches! Lol!

I also eat really well-toasted bread with Cheez Whiz and strawberry jam… sounds like a gross combination but it tastes so good! I’ve been eating it since I was like, 6. My mom asked what I wanted on toast, and I said jam but she put on Cheez Whiz instead… when I pouted, she scraped off most of the cheese and slapped on some jam. Instant favorite. Haha

I like to make chip sandwiches. Husband says it’s odd, but oh well!
