It’s hard to believe how quickly our wedding went a week ago! Everyone said I was uber-prepared with all my lists and spreadsheets, but I’m glad I was, because everything was pretty smooth sailing once the day rolled around. Now that things are settling down and life is getting back to normal (back at work, ugh), I just cannot get used to saying “husband,” and I haven’t been able to sign my new name without thinking twice!
Don’t have pro pics yet, but I can’t resist sharing a few guest photos of our outdoor fall wedding at an old stone mansion. I can’t wait to see the gorgeous shots our photographer took in the amazing stone-walled gardens at our venue, so I’ll probably be sharing some of those once I get my hands on them.

Congrats, I know exactly how you feel! We got married on the 6th and it’s still so surreal. I keep typing ‘fiance’ on here on accident, I wonder how long it takes to get used to husband. Also, you looked beautiful!

Congratulations, love your dress! 🙂

Beautiful! I love your dress and the colors. What a very elegant wedding. Sounds like a perfect day!
It is our favorite thing to call each other “husband” or “wife.” I still haven’t come up with a new signature yet (oops!) so that will definitely be strange. I also don’t think I will react if anyone calls me by my new name for quite a while!

Your pictures look beautiful! And don’t worry about having a hard time saying husband. I keep tripping over my name every five seconds and I’ve signed a few of my papers with my maiden name by mistake and have to start over again. But Darling Husband and I call each other “husband” and “wife” around the house all the time so we can get more used to saying it. 😀

@spoiledvamp27: That’s not a bad idea to get some practice. What’s even weirder is the “Mrs. NewLastName.” Whenever I say it, my husband still says “That’s my mom’s name!”
