Alright, as I *facepalm* in shame that this is yet another dress post (seriously, I am embarrassed) it is now time to pick a dress.
I have narrowed it down (that concept seemed lost on me, I know) to two dresses, and here they are:
Elmo (who makes this dress?) *the belt is not part of the dress, but I would belt it
Cookie Monster (Sottero & Midgley Penelope) *would this need a belt?
Price is not an issue, they are both around the same.
They both fit amazingly, though I think CM had more support, but Elmo had a slightly better/fancier looking material (and I feel like the look of it is more sophisticated in general, where as the CM is more playful).
I feel like overall I love Elmo but am entirely not sure about the flowers. On the other hand, everyone’s jaws dropped when I walked out in the CM and I felt sexy in it, and I also love it.
Mom is visitting in a couple of weeks and I will try both these dresses on (that she loved in pictures) and she will hopefully break the tie. But I have a feeling I will still be torn.

@Mimoza: I’m not a big fan of the skirts on either dress but the bodice on “cookie monster” looks so much more beautiful IMO! You don’t need the bigger lines on the satin(?) “elmo” dress because you’re skinny, skinny, skinny!

They are both beautiful, but I really like the Cookie Monster Dress. It sits well on your body, and doesn’t need a belt because of the bling on the side. I really like the ruffles instead of the flowers. Good Luck!

To be perfectly honest, I like the top of the second one and the bottom of the first one. But on the whole, I like Cookie Monster better.

@angela85: +1 I love the bottom of the Elmo but I think the top of Cookie is so much more flattering on your lovely figure!

I’m torn, althought I voted for Elmo. I think that dress is BEAUTIFUL and I love all of the details. You look amazing in both so it really will just come down to what vibe you want to give off- more sophisticated or more playful. Good luck deciding!

I love the 2nd one on you! It complements your figure so well! I agree with the PP that you wouldn’t need a belt because of the bling on the side.

Cookie Monster dress looks amaaaaaaaaaaazing on you! I’m not a fan of the top of the Elmo, I don’t really think it’s doing much for your lovely figure.

@angela85: @MissWitty: Right? I wish I could just combine dresses haha.
@MapleLeafMel: Good point! Thanks for advice on the belt!
@mchitt329: Thank you! I think I agree about the wide pleats on the Elmo – they tended to move around as I was wearing it. Being a type-A, that would bother me way too much!

@Mimoza: cookie monster for life! no belt!

I looked at the first one and thought – wow that is beautiful. I scrolled to the second one and it took my breath away! second one FOR SURE!! Your figure looks amazing and the dress itself is so elegant with just the right amount of sex appeal.
I am usually pro-belt but in this case I think you should go without!

Cookie Monster highlights your curves like WHOA.
Definitely go with that one. With Elmo there’s so much going on with the crumbcatcher and the belt and the ruching and the flowers that the eye focuses on that. Cookie Monster puts the spotlight on your amazing figure.

Oh Cookie Monster, for sure. Your curves are like WHABAM in that dress.
Also the fact that you made your head into Sesame Street characters makes me so happy.

@TwoStatesBride: Haaahah. I love that! Thanks!!
@mrswestcoast: Thanks so much!! 🙂 I completely agree with the belt thing – I was opposed to the belt idea originally and thought I would add a nice necklace instead.
@vermonster: Wow so nice thank you! I think you’re right. The dress has a lot going on – very busy looking. Great point, thanks for bringing it up! 🙂
@jltoth: Thanks! That’s a good way of putting it!
@Westwood: I agree too – Elmo has a gorgeous look but it doesn’t highlight as well. And honestly speaking, I know FH wanted me to wear something more fitted. Thanks for the nice words! 🙂

@hyperJulie: Gahahahhahahah I just read WHABAM out loud and cracked myself up even more. Thanks for that rofl.
😀 also – i keep talking in their voices whenever I look at the dresses…like ELMO THINKS YOU SHOULD PICK ME…hahah 😛
