@Mimoza:  I’m not normally a fan of busy skirts, but both of these are beautiful in their “lots going on” way. That first one’s skirt is so interesting. The second dress is sleek and elegant with those fan shaped ruffles, I really really like it!

I would NOT belt it, belts are so trendy at the moment, don’t do it, I’m am tired of them! haha.

@Mimoza:  You make a stunning Cookie Monster! I voted for dress two.

Cookie monster looks much more expensive/flattering in my opinion.

Btw how much do I love your descriptions?! Usually I’m going back and forth from the first post, trying to remember what each designer’s dress looks like and/or what the style name/number is. This time it’s so easy!

    I love Sesame Street.

They’re both beautiful dresses, but your figure looks AMAZING in cookie monster! Depends on how sexy you want to be at the wedding, though. But I’m sure your husband-to-be’s jaw will simply drop if he sees you in that!

@Mimoza:  I say Cookie M. or keep looking.

    • Elmo: This dress is a hot busy mess. You can tell the fabric is nice, but it is not a  cohesive look, it’s somehow making you look ruler-shaped (axe it for that reason alone), and it is nowhere near a “wow” dress on you. Aside from the curves elimination–which I’m sure your Fiance would be far more upset about than I am–I really cannot get over how cluttered it is. With the split 70-layered crumbcatcher, and the pleated bodice, and then the intricate babushka-embroidered skirt (which is beautiful, btw)…I just don’t know where the focus is. It’s like when someone wears loud lipstick and loud eyeshadow at the same time. But instead of looking like this:

It turns out looking like this:

    • Cookie: Now this dress automatically gains some points since it’s a more streamlined look. Also, that bodice is doing all sorts of wonderful things for your figure. And I actually like the fan-pleated detailing in the skirt. I think it adds a fun spin on the “ruffle” trend. However, this dress is not a “wow” dress on you, either. Of course it’s more of a “wow” dress than Elmo, but that’s a pretty low threshold to overcome (esp. since some of your previous dresses looked even better). So, if you do not feel like CM is ~the one~ then keep looking. You have plenty of time. 🙂

@MlleFabuleux:  Holy crap, is that Leighton Meester? I had no idea she could look that bad. :/

@peonyinparis:  I know! I’ve used this photo before on here (to illustrate a similar point) because it makes me so angry at her MUA. If I did not know better, I’d think her MUA had some vendetta against her.

@MlleFabuleux:  I just Googled “Leighton Meester + Joker” and this came up:

I think it was during her break-away-from-Blair-Waldorf phase, when she was trying to dress super edgy and sexy. Her stylist from that period should also be fired.

@peonyinparis: HahahahaHA! I was not expecting that to pop up. Oh my word. And yes, I not only hope she was fired, but I hope her punishment is that she officially has to make this a part of her portfolio (to warn future, unsuspecting victims).

I voted for Cookie Monster, since I think it comes close to being right for you, but I tend to agree with @MlleFabuleux’s comments that it’s not a “wow” dress.

I think I would like Elmo if it were simpler – e.g. without the belt, and a simpler neckline. Have you thought of trying some others in the same Jasmine’s range. Like this one (F473), maybe?

@Mimoza:  You’re welcome and thank you :D. I wrote it late at night, when everything is so much funnier to me. Really, my late-night self was just so offended by Elmo…because I am ridiculous. 😛

I just purchased penelope (cookie monster) about a month ago.   I love it.  And it so flatters you!  I can’t wait to wear it myself.
