I might add just a few more jewels to the beaded area.  Otherwise,  I think it looks like what you asked for! Congrats!

This dress reminds me of those old 50’s movies when they wore stuff like this to DINNER! What I’m trying to say is that I love it!

I agree that yours could use more beadding going up to your boob 🙂

I got excited because I thought you went with blue!  The white looks nice too, it’s just remarkable in blue.  I wish my FH was cool with me wearing a non-white gown.

Yay for getting me excited about ordering my own dress from Dressilyme in a few months.

@rowdygirl99:  I like the beading on the bust in that photo. Maybe add it on the diagonal side away from the waist beading to kind of “balance” things out?

Your dress turned out nice. I think it’s pretty close to the original, though I do agree that the beading on the waist should be thicker.

The ruffles look a bit sparse to me.  The blue had lots of bunches of ruffles, but they seem a little flat/thin in the white dress compared to the blue.

Pretty! The original dress has a sweetheart neckline, whereas the replica is more of a dip? Not sure if that matters to you or not- I think either way looks good!

@rowdygirl99:  !ow its gorgeous!!! Squee!  Congratulations!! Points that I would make are:

1. The slope of the back of your dress is not as sloped as the blue. This might result in imaginary “back fat” – see this post to see what i’m on about!

2. I think the ruffles on your dress are too sparse at the base? On the blue you can’t see where the ruffles start and the material stops. Maybe ask for more ruffles on the back especially, but also on the sides of the front where you can see the material peeking out on the bottom?

3. Sweetheart neckline that another poster has already said!

4. The ruching on the left boob (left of the photo) appears not to be very even! Maybe ask for the gathers to be denser and more even. The right boob also appears to be very pointy!

Other than that, it has turned out beautifully. I hope when they make the lace up back they make the back more slopey.  The suggested beading to the top also sounds wonderful. 🙂 Please show us photos of you in it when you get it? I think your dress is amazing. That tulle skirt is sooo nice.  Please also let us know how the tulle feels!

This is the photo I wanted to show you! This is one done by dressilyme, and I think the bottom of the skirt is a bit better because there is more tulle rufffles and you cant see the material underneath.

@rowdygirl99:  I would keep the beading at the waist so as to not draw too much attention to the bust.  It will also look slimmer with beading at the waist as it’ll draw the eyee to the narrowest part of your body.

Also the right boob looks a lil pointy at the seam..but hard to tell if its just the photo.

otherwise the dress looks fab!
