Hi everybody, first post here! I’ve been unofficially waiting with my lovely partner for months now, but we have a solidified date of around the holidays this year. She and I are very much in love and so ready for the next step. We are moving in together in a week, and made a timeline in February about how we’d like our relationship to progress. She is a graduate student in Forensic Science and I am finishing up my bachelor’s in History. It is so exciting to be in the official process of waiting. We met by chance online on OkCupid, she sent me a message as I was about to delete my account. I am so lucky that I saw that message. Anyways- waiting bees, especially university ones- how do you balance waiting with your school? It’s so hard for me NOT to daydream in class and spend all of my time on pinterest! Don’t get me wrong, I’m a highly dedicated student: I’m in the process of writing an honor’s thesis! But still, it’s a bad habit The waiting feels like it’s going to kill me sometimes, and I can’t help but start acting like an inquisitor to my poor girlfriend. She’s a good sport though!
