I finally finished! It took almost a year, but I hung in there. There are about 115 stems in it, so you can probably guess it’s pretty big. I took it apart a started over several times. I made a total of 135 stems and it was more difficult than I thought it would be to determine just how big my faux hydrangea bouquet needed to be. I wanted it HUGE, but the bouquet was so big, I still had holes not covered with the 135 stems! Crazy, right? The final result was 34 inches in circumference and 115 stems. I love her! Now that I’m finally finished, I’ll be glad to answer any questions you may have about this type of project.
This came out Great! Would you say it was an expensive project? I want to make one but I’d like it to have silk touch flowers also.. Sorta half and half
bebe_k: Mine was pretty pricey, but that’s because I wanted it to be really big. The big cost is the brooches. If you can get them for a good price, then go for it!
