well as long as your ceremony and reception are inside it’ll be ok. you can always do an after wedding photo shoot. put your dress back on and go out on a sunny day. remember, weathermen are never always right, you might just get lucky!

And traditionally rain is good luck for a marriage anyways πŸ˜‰ But I’m sure you will be fine and you might get lucky and get some blue skies when you come out of the church before or after it rains.

i know.. i saw that yday too.. funny b/c the day before it was sposed to be all clear. hang in there.. we’ve got a week. it still could change.

get big huge umbrellas.. you can have great pix in the rain w/ bright colored ones and still have your procession.

re shoes – do you have another pair you could switch into?

I hope you get your great weather! It was supposed to rain several days this week and it didn’t end up happening, so maybe it’ll be fine!

I’m hoping to do my litle processional, too, so keep your fingers crossed that we won’t have rain either!

It’s still a week away.  The week before my wedding there was a 60% chance of rain.  I emailed the coordinator and told her we needed to come up with our rain plan…two days later after we had the rain plan ready to go…the rain chances went away πŸ™‚ We had BEAUTIFUL weather for the wedding.  Just remember, they’re never quite 100% sure until 48 hours out.  Good luck!

The weather always changes, so it might clear up before your big day. When I was weather stalking before my wedding, there was anywhere from a 20%-80% chance of rain… and then my day turned out beautiful without a drop of rain. Hopefully the same will happen to you!

I wouldnt trust the weather forecast for NYC until the day before, and even then, better re-check again in the morning just to be safe because it changes THAT much. According to the forecast last night, it should be raining right now, and it’s not! You never know πŸ™‚ Good luck!

I’m going to send fair weather wishes your way! Hopefully you get a mere sprinkling in the morning (for good luck) and the rest of the day will be dry, sunny and gorgeous πŸ™‚ And if it isn’t, I’m positive your wedding will still be perfect!
