My dress is here! I’m so excited but really really nervous as this is the first time I”ll be seeing it. Back story:
I fell in love with the Mori Lee Blu 4808 gown on the website of the bridal store. I called to see if they had a sample in stock and they did and I scheduled an appointment for a month later. I was training for a marathon and wanted to wait until after it was over and I had some free time (and recovered enough to be able to walk!)So finally my appointment came and I brought my friend and Future Mother-In-Law with and couldn’t wait to try on the dress. I tried on a few other ball gowns just so I could see other options and not be so narrow minded so I wouldnt have dress regret. While they were pretty after trying them I knew I still wanted to try the 4808. My consultant went to go find it, but came back with some bad news: the sample had been sold. After seeing the heartbreak on my face she quickly snatched up the Mori Lee Blu 4524 which is an almost identical dress in taffeta. I tried it on and came out, my friend, Future Mother-In-Law and I all agreed that this in organza was THE dress.
Sorry if the photo is huge. I still love how I look in this dress and know it’s the right sillhouette for me. I guess I’m just nervous because I haven’t actually seen the dress in person or tried it on. Anyone else ever been in this situation and did you end up loving or hating the dress once you saw it? I pick it up next Thursday and I have a feeling it will be a lot of sleepless nights until then!
