Our large oval table (which I feel I should mention is a lovely family heirloom) sits in the middle of our apartment’s main living space and is completely covered by FI’s Warhammer supplies.  There are three Rubbermaid bins, a couple of cardboard boxes, some arts & crafts organizers, and a lot of miscellaneous clutter.  We live in a 1-bedroom apartment, so there’s nowhere else for him to put this stuff, but it’s frustrating when we have people coming over and I have to ask him to pile it all in a corner of the bedroom.  I’m really looking forward to our next apartment, which has a den that he’ll be able to put all of his nerdy stuff.

I have hobbies too, but mine are a lot less intrusive.  One shelf of birding books, a cabinet with my crocheting supplies, and a shoebox-sized makeup organizer on the bathroom counter.

If you are committed to this guy to the point of getting engaged this summer, it’s a huge deal that he wouldn’t talk to you about his money problems. You would be committing to marriage in the near future. Those are the struggles that many married couples have and work through together-you can’t hide that stuff from eachother. What happens if he has financial struggles again? would he do the same thing?

Also, I would never risk my relationship (sleeping with people) over money. my Fiance is way more important to me than that, and he would clearly know that he was risking losing you by sleeping around

@Jay243:  there are plenty of other legal and illegal ways to make money. Im not convinced that he didnt do this partly for his own enjoyment…

I wouldnt be so quick to trust him. I’m sorry bee.

I’m so sorry you’re feeling bad. When I was pregnant I was sick for the first 20 weeks… I feel your pain. You can actually put vaporub inside your nostrils- I used the baby kind a few times. Any chance you could pull off a face mask, like ou were getting sick?

Actually that might weird people out if you were serving them coffee. Just wanted to say it’s exhausting but you just have to do the best you can. Good luck!

@roguehnp2005:  We put ours off for a few months and then did a mini-moon to New Orleans.  I would have been to exhausted to go after the wedding.  Not to mention that I woke up with a hangover the day after the wedding and then a sinus infection the day after that.  It would have made for an awful honeymoon.

We recently booked a first anniversary trip to Europe for two weeks!
