It’s lovely! I appreciate anything that is a bit different and equally elegant. Has a lovely vintage feel to it. I will probably go veil less too.

Pixel8:  i am going back oand forth with this one. First i wanted a headpiece and then the other day i was like maybe a i want a veil. I dont see the purpose of the veil if its not a traditional thing. I cant seem to grasp why most brides wear them today other then for looks and pics. So after looking at prices last night i think i am back to no veil and get a headpiece.

Did you buy yours online?

I love it!  I didn’t wear a veil – I had crystal flower pins in my hair.

Do you know where the headband in the first picture is from? Both pieces look really pretty!

This looks so cool. Now I feel why I didn’t wear one. πŸ˜› I just had some pearl pins in the big bun over my head.

That comb is gorgeous!  I’ve been eyeing Jennifer Behr’s designs since last winter, when I found a pic of her Double-Star Bobby pins in a New York Weddings mag feature.  My gown is named “Star,” so star bobbies seemed just right, and they aren’t super expensive, so I was hooked.  I went to place an order for two of them, but the staff at JB were kind enough to inform me that actually they were backordered as their current stock of the actual bobby pins was defective, so my order was canceled.

At the same time, BHLDN marked down the Double Orchid bobby pin half-off.  I impulse bought it, thinking I could see both styles and decide which I preferred, but the canceling of my other order prevented that.  So now I still have the below style but am not sure if I am set on wearing it for my wedding.  The orchid pin at 50% off = the price of two of the star pins at full price, but the appeal of a deal doesn’t seem to have diminished my preference for the first style.  I think I’m mostly put off by the fact that I don’t want orchids in my bouquet, so does the pin then look weird?  Ack, sorry to threadjack!

TL/DR: too many pretty hair options!
