Hi date twin! I’m feeling the same. I can’t believe its actually June. I’m semi-freaking out about all the lil things we have to do. I feel like I shouldn’t be relaxing at any point of the day, but that’s just absurd. My list isn’t even that bad!
Here it is 🙂
paint design on aisle runner
re-dip ring
facial
finalize seating chart
write out placecards
give all contracts and contact #’s to my Aunt who will handle all that stuff the day of
do thank you cards/add gratuity for vendors
finalize with videographer
finalize with DJ… which means we have to pick out a couple more songs
finalize with hair/make-up stylist
finalize with florist
final dress fitting
final meeting with DOC
wrap FI’s and parents gifts, write card
assemble a bag for the day and night of the wedding
shop for honeymoon
pack for honeymoon
Ah!

YAY JUNE brides!! I woke up extra early this morning and thought “Ohmigosh it’s JUNE!”, and couldn’t go back to sleep, lol!
My wedding is in 4 days!! I’m pretty much done with everything… just some of the last minute stuff to do:
— pack for hotel (we are staying in a suite on Fri and Sat nights)
— confirm rehearsal dinner details
— shop for rehearsal dress (I have one, but I’m not totally in love with it)
— pick up dress from dry cleaners (it’s being pressed/steamed) on Fri
— get mani/pedi
— pack for honeymoon/ confirm trip details
That’s about it for now! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!

AAAAKKKKCCCCC is all I have to say! I have 11 days to go and this is my last day off before then! I only have 7 more days of work before I am off and running! I am heading to pick up my dress in 15 min and am so excited for that. I am still tying up a few craft loose ends and packing stuff up for the 2hr trip to the venue next week. Next week will be alllll about the food since we are doing a self cater reception….and I am not really looking forward to that! I’m planning to sit down and do a day by day todo list when I get back with my dress so I’ll have to come back and add it once I am done!

WOOHOOO!!!!! even though I still have a FEW small things left to do – I took this past weekend to knock out some of the bigger things.
all i can say though – after TWO FREAKIN’ YEARS is YAY!!!! IT’S FINALLY JUNE 2010!!!!
Let’s see though. I know I still have:
* Flowers (being done by a friend at work) – trust her enough she’ll have em done by the wedding
* Put together CD of pictures for the Videographer to put together our video montage (doing this tonight)
* print off home-made candy bar wrappers and wrap candy bars for reception.
* Friday is my final fitting/pick up dress from alterations.
* Seating Chart/Place cards (chart is almost done)
* Thursday I meet with the photographer for wrap-up
* Wednesday the 9th meet with venue for last minute details.
* Finish Day-of paper packets (been working on this…)
* Bachelorette Party is on the 12th.
* Manicure is on the 24th…
Honestly that looks like a lot but is SUCH a much smaller list than 2 weeks ago!
Can I just say, though – I’m SO excited it’s here but SOOOOOOO happy the wedding planning will be done and over with soon!?!!! again, it’s been TWO YEARS!

UGH. My to-do list covers both sides of a piece of college-ruled notebook paper. I cannot type it out here, but suffice it to say it’s overwhelming!

@SweetAdeline – we are sorta doing that for our honeymooon too!!! we know what city we’re going to (Myrtle Beach) – but we haven’t had the $$ to book any hotels or anything yet – so we’re hoping for a lot of money from the wedding and then we’re driving down there Monday Morning (June 28) and will find somewhere to stay! :p

I’m relieved to say that the only major things I have left to do is to do is pick up my dress and make the escort cards. It’s been a hell of a busy last few weeks though! I can’t believe my wedding is in 9 days!!!

- Wedding: June 2010 - Ceremony - First United Methodist Church; Reception - My parents' house!
Bah. I have such a ridiculous amount of stuff to do, and I have no idea how I’ll get it done. Oh well, the joys of being a wait-until-the-last-minute bride! :p
- Print and bind programs
- Make menus, frame said menus
- Signs for stuff… yeah, not sure about that
- Photobooth props
- Guestbook
- Paint a bunch of crap
- Photobooth backdrop (aka stringing 20348 cranes, cutting out 23048 letters)
- Dress hangers
- Find/buy confetti for the exit and for the party
- Clean out the upstairs of my parents’ house, cause there’s about to be a wedding up in here
- Another fitting
- Brazilian hair straightening, hair extensions
- Order alcohol
I know I’m forgetting things, but yes, tons to do!

Yes it’s our wedding month June! I can’t believe it’s finally here! I got engaged on February 14, 2009. And now a year and 4 months later it’s finally here June! Oh my goodness. I must admit I’m pretty nervous. Being my own wedding consultant was one of the hardest (but most fulfilling) jobs I’ve ever had!
Now for the list:
Hair and make up trial
Have seamstress(my aunt) finish all 5 moh and bridesmaid dresses.
Have seamstress do the alterations for my dress
Buy some wedding jewelry
Buy Parents and attendants gifts
Print ceremony programs
Oh my goodness I feel like there’s more but I can’t think of anything else right now.
Congratulations all you June brides! This is our month it’s finally here!
