@romantical:  That would get annoying to me too!

My rant is working on setting up Health Insurance for the company I work for. It is so frustrating. We have been working on it for months now going back and forth with different health providers. It’s getting ridiculous. I am honestly thinking about becoming a Insurance Broker…that’s how much time I have spent on it.

@romantical:  The last about three months I have been doing it on a daily basis. It’s not what I was hired to do but I am grateful my eyes were open during this process. Some of these rates are just stupid ridiculous.

My rant – the weekend goes by too fast. And we always too tired to do anything but sleep!

The old lady that is our receptionist here wont do things when i ask her to. Listen lady, i am administration but NOT reception. If i ask you to get me a purolator or fedex for today, dont tell me to call the number. YOU call the number and let me know what the deal is so i can discuss with the partner.

My venue has completely given me the run around about having beer. At first they said that I would be able to bring a list of beers and that it would basically be a rubber-stamp process. Now they are saying I will have to wait until the beginning of the year, and that it will have to be voted on by the board?!?! WTF?

If this place weren’t one of the most beautiful things I’d ever seen, I’d have changed my plans by now.

I could rant and rant about school – the blessings and curses of employer tuition reimbursement – etc.  But I’m exhausted… cuz it’s Monday 🙂

omg.

We were open until noon on Friday, and our showroom lady offered to man the phones  so I could take off work. I come in today, and she didn’t do ANY of the paperwork from Wednesday or Friday, count down the drawer…nothing. She knows EXACTLY what she’s supposed to do, seeing as she’s my backup. She ran a couple of account payments that we were worried about (our month ends the 25th, so we had to get them in before then), but she left a clusterfuck of paperwork from Wednesday and Friday for me to sort out this morning. Thanks a lot.

However, we got a letter from my old job (they dicked me around for 6 months and then laid me off), saying that they’re going out of business. They purchased some stuff from the company I work for now, but are sending this letter because they can’t pay (they only owe us $40, but all of their property has been seized by the bank). HA.

Fiance wants to work a 24 hour shift at the station so he can get overtime. I’m off the 23-25 and am really wanting to spend that time with him. I LOVE Christmas, and he doesn’t really like Christmas. Hoping he doesn’t pick up the shift =
