Ugh ME TOO!!

I’m really struggling with one of my co-workers. She is alot older than me and the fact that i am in a senior position pisses her off. She likes to talk down to me and basically act like i dont know what i’m doing. But the reality is, i do my job very well and very efficiently. So she can kiss my ass and do what i ask of her.

I just got grumbled at by one of the sales guys for something that I did wrong because he told me the wrong thing. Uh, I’m not the one who knows about this stuff, so if what YOU tell me is wrong, it’s obviously going to be fcking wrong.

Yep.

I’ve been in my position for three years. The problem is that it’s a tiny company, and this was my first job. So even with three years here, I’m still the bottom of the totem pole. There’s no upward mobility, and while my responsibilities have increased, I’m also still responsible for the same time-sucking BS I was three years ago.

That, plus unorganized management and frustrating coworkers, I’m ready to go. Our life is in flux a little- we plan to move out of state in the next year, and four years at one place looks a lot better than leaving a job after a year or so.

But, on most days, it would be worth it to have a new job.

Wow! Lots of PPs who are planning on moving out of state in the next year. I am with you guys – once school is done,my SO and I are out of here.

My job here is ok (save for a bitchy and manipulative coworker), but I know I can get better elsewhere once I have my Masters and active CPA license. In addition to that, my hour+ commute is dreadful, hence that is what has been exhausting/frustrating.

OP and other frustrated bees – All I can say is just note that this is NOT forever. There IS a light at the end of the tunnel. We’ll all get there.

@LadyBear:  I just noticed you’re in Alexandria- me too! I’m really hoping that with a new job, my experience will shine through and I’ll be responsible for less BS.
