Ermagherd Bees! I’m finally starting to get some venders under my belt! I found an AMAZING caterer who specializes in farm to table, sustainable, organic food. It looks sooooooooo amazing! And what’s more, their prices fit my budget AND are comparable to the defrosted frozen food caterers I had been finding! They are a fancy pants restaurant in a fancy pants shopping district, and I found out by chance that they cater! I am soooo excited! We’re in the middle of scheduling our tasting.
The same week, I went out on a limb and contacted a photographer whose work I love and has been featured in a bunch of regional wedding magazines. I told him what I thought of his work, told him I didn’t really have any money but I was doing my best to find it (I have about 1k gathered for photography) and said I was contacting him just because I might as well try. Bees, he has been so very nice! He called me as soon as he saw my e-mail and promised me that he would photograph my wedding and make my budget work. His packages start at well over 3k O_O He has been so humble and sweet and kind, I just can’t believe it!
I’ll share more on the photographer after we get our contract and pricing worked out. WOOT!
I’M HAVING A WEDDING!

@Asia: That’s so awesome!!!! I’m thoroughly jealous of your caterer, and that is amazing for the photographer to work with you. So exciting 🙂
Although.. I have to ask.. I’ve seen people write “ermgherd” before, and I’m not sure I follow. :/ Is it supporsed to be a funny way to pronounce “omg” ?

@FtrMrsAMH: Yay month twins! 😀 I am glad, too! I have been feeling very far behind, so this is like a weight off my shoulders! Especially since I don’t feel like I am settling. 🙂

@Asia: Yay!!!! That’s awesome! It really makes it feel more real once OTHER people are involved. Like caterers and such. It sorta makes you go “Yeah I’m really not just making all this up in my head” LOL.
You should come back and tell us about this food you’re going to go taste, because it sounds really, really yummy. Like erhmagerd yummy 😛

@Sunnyday278: Haha! That’s exactly how it is! Once I’ve got other people involved it doesn’t feel like i’m making it up!
I’m hoping to get back to you guys with tasting news, soon. 🙁 As of right now, my caterer says she doesn’t have time for me until March! Ugh.
I WANT FOOD IN MY MOUTH NOW!

@Asia: hey date twin! Yayy for you. I hope your tasting goes well. I thought your mother was making your dress?

@gelaine22: She is, but we have to go dress shopping to figure out what style we’re going with, first. It’s hard to get together because she lives in Oklahoma, I live in Kansas, and my sister lives in Missouri! DX I can’t wait much longer!
