Planning your wedding is really hard when you can’t consult your best friend on a lot of the major stuff. So again, I’m turning to the bees for opinions.
My wedding colors are pink and champagne. My dress is champagne satin with Ivory lace overlay and my flower girl dresses are champagne and ivory.
My bridesmaid dresses are pink (example – not my photo)

Which color should Fiance and his GMs wear?
A: Beige suit with pink vest and tie

B: Beige suit with champagne suit and tie

C: Black Tux with Black vest and tie

D: Black Tux with Champagne vest and tie

E: Something Else
ETA: I accidentally hit submit before I finished the poll, so please respond with the corresponding letter and/or suggestions. If something else, please explain. Thanks, dolls!

Have you asked the gents what they’d like? (Or at least your guy?) If you’re taking the wheel entirely I’d go with beige suit and pink vest and tie.

Definitely A – Beige suit with pink vest and tie. It looks so cute! And I’m usually not a fan of pink on guys. B looks boring. Next pick is C. Definitely not D.
P.S. I accidentally voted for B in the poll so please -1 for B. Sorry!

Surely this should be your FH’s choice?? If you give him the list of possibilities that all fit in your theme, let him pick which he prefers/feels most comfortable in. I’m personally not a fan of the beige suit. I would pick black with champagne tie. Is black with pink tie to match the BMs not an option?

I’m never a fan of groomsmen wearing the Bridesmaid or Best Man dress color in a vest- sometimes I’m okay with a tie, but the colored vest is wayyyy too prom-like to me.
I personally like option D the best. If your wedding is more casual than option B. If you really want the guys to wear some pink, have them wear a pink boutinerre. i also wouldnt mind a tan suit, no vest, and pink tie, but I feel like the tie should be patterened to give the look some more visual interest.

FI says he doesn’t care at all what I pick, that its entirely up to me, which is absolutely zero help.
It is a small (50 people), Sunday brunch wedding at an indoor atrium at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. This would incline me to believe the beige would be most appropriate, but I’ve never seen anything but black tuxes at a wedding so Im having a hard time picturing it in my mind’s eye.
I was not at all a fan of the black tux with pink vest and tie so I didn’t even post it, and I agree that its a but too prom/matchy matchy. In fact, I am not worried if they’re not wearing any pink, I just thought the beige and pink looked kinda nice together.
Also – 3 of the four groomsmen are husky, Fiance is on the thinner side and his best man (his 14 year old son) is a lanky teenager. I say this in case anyone thinks body type is a factor.

msfreemis: It’s a bit early in the day for a tuxedo.
I vote no pink vest. It’s a little too prom-ish for me too.
If the suits don’t come with a matching vest, then I would not add a vest. Just go with a striped or patterned tie with pink and beige. Your groom could also wear a different tie than the groomsmen.

If you are concerned that the beige isn’t the best color for the husky guys, they could also wear a dark grey or charcoal suit. That color looks fabulous with champagne.
Here’s a pic with the bridesmaids in champagne dresses just to show you how great the charcoal goes with champagne (I know your girls will be in pink)

Here is a link to a wedding party similar to what I was thinking. (The photo wont load for some reason). The pink doesn’t look bad at all and there’s even a husky guy who – I have to admit – looks pretty damn good!

What does the groom want? I think a beige suit with either tie is will be great; go with no vest, or a vest matching the suit. For tie colour, whichever yet groom likes.
What time is the wedding, and how formal?
