I felt like that in the beginning of the third trimester, tired, huge, sore… then it got a little bit better, but not a whole lot. Sorry I can’t be more positive but you will get through it, luckily at this point time seems to move a lot quicker. I have ten days until my due date and I just can’t wait to get this little guy out and not be pregnant anymore. Try to do something nice for yourself like get a prenatal massage or something that will make you feel good. 🙂

Third Trimester was my least favorite- I just felt very heavy and blah. I agree a nice pedi or massage helps. Also try to stay off your feet if you can it makes a world of a difference. Drink plenty of water also! Hang in there! Not too much longer!!!

I think my nesting phase is kicking in and I am 2 days shy of 35 weeks. Everything around me feels dirty. I can’t wait to go home and clean and you won’t hear that from me often. I am usually super lazy, lol.

Well for my experiences so far, the pregnancy has gone very well. I do seem to be going through things more as I get closer to the due date. Like Monday apparently, Baby Roddy decided to go ninja on my left rib…OUCH!! I was sore for two days. I am also going through this thing with my left leg. It feels as if I pulled something but the hubs stretched out my leg and nothing. It only hurts when I am laying down. The pain will shoot up my thigh and to my lower part of my abdomen. Unfortunately, this is week 3 or so going through this.

Maybe, just maybe, things will get better. Things tend to get worse as baby loses space.

Good luck to you though!

@DerbyBride – ugh, so sorry to hear you are so miserable.  I am just hitting 27 weeks, and I have heard from a lot of people that second trimester is by far the best….all I can say is that if this is your first pregnancy, milk it for all its worth – have your husband do more of the moving stuff, pamper yourself, get some rest – oh and tell the guy at work to shove it.  Seriously I have learned to NEVER comment on how a pregnant woman looks – people tell me I don’t look very pregnant and that bugs me too.

one thing to maybe try if you haven’t is some gentle exercise – swimming especially if you can.  Have heard it can help with some of the swelling and other pain of being pregnant if you are up for it….

The third trimester is definitely rough but at least you know that the end is in sight!  As much as I want to get this baby out (badly!), I’ve actually felt better the last few weeks than I had the whole rest of the trimester.  Hang in there!
