Ladies – I need some solidarity. My Fiance disagrees with my choice of wedding band. This band was my mothers’ and I thought it looked really nice up against my Emerald beauty.
Fiance says it neither looks like it matches enough, or clashes enough, and is just “blah.”
I’ll leave it in your hands – does this look nice? If not, got any other suggestions for me?

I feel like this is just one of those rings that will ALWAYS look better without a band, y’know?

I am a Jewellery Lover…
And I like Unique Pieces…
So I have to say I LOVE your choice, for so many reasons.
1- It belonged to your Mom, and I am a Sentimental nut. LOVE NEW and OLD Jewellery equally, but more so if I have a heritage / family piece with a History that I am aware of.
2- It is unique (the wound gold aspect that faces up)
3- The widths of the two bands are similar in size & feel
I guess what I wouldn’t be crazed about (might irritate my finger over time) is “the gap”
But that is a personal thing…
Hope this helps,

I think it looks fine, but I agree with rcab

I really like it! They work well with each other. They look like they are the same color and the widths look about the same.

I like it! The gap would bug me, but that’s a personal preference. I think they look great together.

It looks perfect. Love it!

@PuckBunny: It looks good because it matches. The element I would question is do you feel comfortable with that large of a gap? If so, go for it!

I absolutely love it!! And I love the gap. All the celebrities have gaps because their rocks are so big, haha.

I really like it, but if your fiance wants to buy you another ring, let him. You can have both! 🙂
