Mine is a 1.7 on a 5.75, so I won’t post, but just wanted to say that 6 prongs maintain the round shape of the diamond – I think it is such a classic, beautiful look!

starrynight898:  I vote for a 6 prong because I think they look classier (I’m biased though because that’s how my RB solitaire is set) I also feel like for larger stones, it seems more secure than a 4 prong. I agree with PPs that a 4 prong can make a RB look squarish

Congrats on your ring!

Edit: for the record, I’m not posting a pic because mine isn’t what you’ve asked for in your post. How annoying that you’re getting photos of rings that fall outside what you’re looking for simply because people want to show off their rings.

Here’s mine, 7 mm moissy on a size 6 finger. Both shanks are 3 mm each, so 6 mm in total. Thought you would want some different angles, so lots of pics! 😄

I am a total solitaire girl too. I love the attention a single diamond on a plain band gets.

I have a pave e-ring w/ a plain band. Both are 2mm wide. My e-ring is 4 prong, 1ct, on size 6 finger:
