Ugh that’s tough that it’s in a foreign language! I would be hesitant as well. Hopefully you will still get valuable information out of it. If your Fiance can translate t will probably just take longer to communicate, but hopefully the same quality of sharing and discussion can take place. Good luck!! 🙂

If you guys are thinking about using NFP, you might want to check out the book “Taking Charge of Your Fertility.” It will explain the background that underpins all of the different NFP methods – in English!

We live in a border town. Where we live doesn’t offer pre marriage classes so we had to either choose between going into Mexico for the classes or finding elsewhere. I speak fairly good Spanish but not good enough to have understood 100% of what was said. I think that defeats the purpose of the classes when you can’t fully understand 100% of what is being said. We traveled 1 1/2hrs each way once a week to take our classes in English.

@newname_99- Crossing the border is ridiculous I hate the extremely long lines just to cross back and the endless amount of questioning. We go into Mexico pretty often and sometimes the line to get in is just as long!

@newname_99- Holy Moly 7hrs?! I would have started crying lol I can relate to getting nervous when they’re questioning us. We have nothing to hide as well but they’re so mean sometimse. I got yelled at several months ago by a customs officer crossing back into the U.S. He made me cry but I sure did take his name down and reported him!
