bee1014 :  I wear yellow gold and dont have any rose gold jewelry (yet!), but I do share the obsession! ๐Ÿ˜ I think the set on your picture looks amazing and also wanted to add, that rose gold works really well with white gold if you’re into mixing metals.

Here is the ring my Fiance gave me. It’s 18kt rose gold with an almost 0.9ct diamond. My ring size is 4.5

Mine is that same setting (I’m 90% sure).  I had wanted the setting in rose from Adiamor, but I was set on a stone from Good Old Gold.  I ended up showing the setting to GOG and they created their own.  I adore this ring! I ended up with an august vintage cushion…believe it or not that’s an N! I was worried it would be insanely yellow at first, but its not at all.  It takes on a buttery hue in sunlight, then white in direct sunlight, and white indoors.  I love warmer stones, but I think you won’t notice yellow at all with a J.

I really like rose gold, but turns out I really like it on other people and really hate it on myself. Yellow gold on myself, I love. So try some on and make sure it agrees with your skin tone before getting in too deep.

bee1014 :  and the only cure is a rose gold cowbell

I made my wedding jewelry out of rose gold chains and small blue ‘pearls’

I totally know what you mean! I am in LOVE with rose gold and I think it’s becoming more and more popular in engagement rings. I have an olive skintone too and I love rose gold blends in with my skintone and makes the center stone pop!

bee1014 :  A J-color shouldn’t look yellow, it depends a lot on cut and clarity, and flourenscence can effect the color too. Also, make sure your diamond is graded by a strict label (like the GIA), because there can be a difference here too.

Even though my ring isn’t rose gold, I’m still going to show you for reference because it has a .74 ct GIA graded J center stone. Hope it helps ๐Ÿ™‚

bee1014 : Thank you! I don’t think a J in rose gold will look yellow at all. Find a J color stone that fits within the AGS 0 standards for cut (the very best cut standard) with strong blue flour and it should never look yellow.
