Hi! I’ve been eating like a maniac since yesterday due to birthday and holiday related events (my bday is Wednesday) had my party last night and GORGED myself, today went to a friends bday brunch….an “All you can eat” buffet….was intense to say the least haha. WITH ALL THAT SAID, as of Friday at my weight watchers meeting I was down 75 pounds, I think I just needed to see this written out, to remind myself how well I’ve done the past year, and that a very rocky weekend…and what is bound to be a very rocky week (eating wise) I will be OK. I’ve been at this for almost a year now, and have had many times where holidays and special occasions have gotten in the way of my healthier eating lifestyle! But I get back on track, EVERY time.
I’ve always struggled SO much with eating…so when I have a bad day, or weekend…or week…I get REALLY down on myself and anxious. I’ll be fine though, I know I will.

@MUAbride2be: Congrats! That’s awesome! Try not to worry yourself too much about the short periods where there are a lot of food-related events going on. I ate and ate and ate over Thanksgiving and gained a few pounds, but I was able to get it back off plus some within two weeks. As long as you’re healthy and eating well on a regular basis, overeating here and there is just a blip on the radar.

Congradulations! That is so awesome. The hollidays are such an awful time for watching your weight. I’m working on mantaining over the month of December and then working back to “normal” loss in January.
