I really really really wanted to order petals for the petal toss plus those monogramed cones that they go in. As of tonight I’ve decided that the money used for that could go to our honeymoon. The petals would cost us about $200.00 and the cones would’ve been another $200 and somethin’ dollars. Would love it but did not budget accordingly. Oh well. I just thought they’d make for nice photos that’s all. The other thing I wanted to do if I didn’t go the petal route were bubbles. Any ideas on that ladies? Should I get individual bubble bottles or get one of those bubble machines? Are would that be too kiddish? I’ve got ten more days… It’d be funny pictures of people trying to blow bubbles though. Ha ha

Aww, it’s hard to give up on something you had your hopes set on. We’re not allowed to do a flower toss because it can stain the cement, boo. As for alternatives, I personally don’t like bubbles, they leave me feeling kind of grimy and they can be pretty messy. My brother’s wedding used a different type of bubble (not soap based) and they all ended up sticking to us and our clothes. We’re probably going to use little jingle bells on ribbon, though I know that it’ll probably be loud with everyone doing it together.

The bubbles might be nice and if you decide on that orientaltrading.com has a great deal on them.

Just a thought–
Instead of real petals I remember hearing somewhere about biodegradable something-er-other that you can toss:
Or silk petals? (but then they would have to be picked up). Has anyone had experience (pros/cons) of these?
