Go! Go now!!They don’t push your cuticles back, they just trim them.

secretbee33:  I love pedicures! They soak your feet in a warm tub, put on cuticle oil and softener before trimming them, cut your nails to length, scrub your toes to clean them, and then use a sugar scrub your feet and legs, rub your calluses off, and lotion you up with a good foot/leg massage before polishing your toenails.

All that to say that they are great! 🙂 Enjoy!

If your feet are super ticklish you might get giggly!!

I think a pedi is 10x better than a mani……and im not a girly girl either.

First they’ll soak your feet in a tub…often with jets…..then they will scub off callouses before they do your nails…..sometimes a leg massage too!!    Soooo relaxing 🙂

secretbee33:  HAHA. My brother is in the Navy and station in Japan… one of the first pictures I saw of him after he flew over there was him doing this at a mall in Japan. He said it tickled!

secretbee33:  The fish thing has a higher risk of infection.  It’s impossible to sterilize/change all the water the fish are in, so unless you get a fresh batch of fish, there’s a risk of hepatitis and other diseases.

secretbee33:  I am incapable of painting my own nails.  I only ever get a manicure when we’re going away.  I have no idea why I do it then, but its part of my pre-vacation ritual.  We’re going away this weekend, so I currently have my nails shellac painted pink with sparkles.  This is the first time I went with colour and not just french.  I’m undecided on it.  I will go french for the wedding, for sure.

Pedicures?  Oh, I love pedicures.  I get at least one a month.  And I always paint my toes a bright colour.  Currently they are a bright pearly pink.  Usually I go with blue or purple.  I’ll go sparkly blue for the wedding. 🙂  I never thought I’d like pedicures, I don’t like people touching my feet.  But I was totally wrong.  I love them.  I love how my feet feel when they’re all done.

secretbee33:  I don’t think you need to feel too bad for the fish.  We have a fish tank and certain species start nibbling on DH’s hand the minute he sticks it in there to move or clean anything.

I loooove pedicures, actually cannot wait till Saturday to get my toes done. I used to hate the idea of getting them done, mainly because I never wanted people touching my feet. So glad my mom talked me into it. If you get a good person, they may even massage your feet which is heaven.

I have never heard of the fish, but that would freak me out anyway.

I used to love pedicures but despite every precaution and going to a pretty nice salon for them I ended up with a toe nail infection and the only thing they could do for me in the end was to remove the nail and kill it from ever growing back. It caused me a lot of pain for years before I resorted to that but in the end it had to be done.

So just please be careful about where you go, and even then there is obviously some risk. Now I am too embarrassed to ever go since I am short a toenail! I just paint my own nails now and I can paint my toe so no one can tell.

secretbee33:  I’m in the same boat, never a pedicure only manicures. I’m definitely not girly either and I hate having my feet touched (main reason for not going). I do my own toes though. All of my friends who go and get em done love em though.

secretbee33:  I was so hesitant for some reason. I guess I just didn’t want people touching my feet. About 2.5 years ago I missed my flight and had hours to kill at the airport so I got one at the airport. Ever since then I’ve been hooked. I go every 3 weeks like clockwork!

My mom is 64 and she just got her first one this summer. She’s hooked now too! Do it. You will love it!
