MrsBG : I am on CD10 and just had my ultrasound. Lining is 4.8. So on top on the 3 oral Estrace I am taking, I need to add 2 vaginal ones. RE thinks that will do the trick. I go back on Monday, but I am really hoping my blood test comes back normal this afternoon.

Excited To Bee : What does hemorrhage mean? That sounds scary!
MrsBG : try not to worry about the embryo grading. I’m living proof that it doesn’t matter that much 🙂

bellarose606 : I got a new prescription coming tomorrow so I’m good, but thank you!!
YogaMama : Thanks. I’m definitely trying not to worry.
niki1983 : I hope the two vaginal ones do the trick!

For the ladies that have taken Estrace vaginally, how much blueish discharge is normal? Too Much Information, but mine was more like EWCM before taking it this morning and now, it’s creamy, kind of like the pill dissolved and fell out. I’m hoping I am still absorbing the dose properly…

MrsBG : I’m feeling okay. Really tender right now and cramping horribly. Definitely started my cycle. Were your cramps worse than normal? They were keeping me up last night it was so bad. How are things going for you? Are you starting PIO tomorrow?
YogaMama : Right?! Apparently they “crack” them on Day 3, so that they have the ability to grow slightly larger cells and kind of bulge out so that they dont have to go into the embryo and affect any other cells than the one they’re taking. Basically, it makes it easier to get a cell and is supposed to have a reduced risk of harming the embryo. I dont know how true that is, I am trying not to scare myself. How are you feeling?
It’s DH and my anniversary and my moms birthday, so I am hoping that means we will get good news soon (Embryologist said she would call early afternoon and then send an email with grading by EOB). Please send positive vibes to my embabies.

Excited To Bee : I’m sorry your not feeling good. My period was actually more manageable than normal. I think maybe it was all the anti OHSS meds that helped. I’m starting progesterone tomorrow. I’m nervous!!

MrsBG : Not yet, but they asked me to bring my box on Monday since I might start taking it then. Let me know how it goes!

Haven’t heard from my nurse so that means by blood test was normal. Yay! I’ll take every little victory I can get…

niki1983 : Have you decided when you are going to take the meds? They said to take them about 12 hours apart (vaginal gel in the AM and PIO in the PM) and I’m not sure what time I want to take them. I leave for work at 7:30 but sometimes don’t get home until 7:30 or 8:30 so I don’t want to have to do injections alone, but if I do 9pm injections, then I have to do 9am vaginal gel which means I’m doing them at work :/ I just don’t know if I have it in me to give myself PIO.

MrsBG : Im sure you’ll do great! I am kinda glad youre going right before me, you can give me the DL on everything as it happens :P. I just heard back from my RE about my Day 6’s, wanted to let you know in terms of 1-5, 5 is the “best.” I didnt get any, it seems like 3s are the norm.
niki1983 : Thats great news!!
So, I know I am going to sound like such an ass. But I am really disappointed and want to cry. I know I am lucky, but out of the 31 still going strong Sunday, only 11 made it to freeze. Thats less than 30% of my total count of 40 mature, nevermind the total 55 we got. I know its a really good number and I should be happy. If I wasnt doing PGS/PGD, I would be ecstatic.. but I am terrified I am going to lose my babies to something when they test them. Im terrified I am going to get my hopes up and then theyre going to tell me we have to start all over. And I dont want to start over, OHSS has kicked my ass and being aware from home and all that vacation time I used. I dont want to. I know I am getting ahead of myself, really.. but I also know you ladies understand where this is coming from. I hate not knowing. Below are the quality of each, apparently 1 is the worst, 5 is the best. Our embryologist told me that there has been numerous studies/data showing there is no correlation between how pretty the embryo is and a resulting genetically normal emrbyo. So.. for what thats worth (and not in order, im assuming, this is just show she sent them):
1. 3AB 2. 3AB 3. 3BC 4. 4CC 5. 4BB 6. 3CC 7. 4AB 8. 3BB 9. 2BC 10. 2BB 11. 4BC

Excited To Bee : I know the feeling 🙁 Of my average 25 retreived, I end up with like an average of 2 to freeze. I think 11 is still great and statistically you should have at least 50% normal (you’re young, right?). Hope you get results soon!

MrsBG : Yup, I’ve used Crinone. Between Crinone and Endometin, I much prefer Crinone. It’s not as chalky and leaky for me. I hated Endometrin. And I’m way too chicken for PIO and the daily shot so I’ve never tried that, and it’s not my REs first choice which works for me.

Excited To Bee : I know this is so hard to hear, but please try not to worry. We got 3/7 normals. I know it is hard. I had 33 eggs retrieved, 16 mature, 14 fertilized, 7 frozen, 3 of those normal/normal. Also, because I know you’ll ask :), the biopsies got to the lab on a Thursday and I got the results the following Friday (1 week, 1 day). Personally, I think 11 is fabulous and I’m crossing everything I have for you!!

pinkshoes : Do you do Crinone twice a day then?
